In your role you will maintain, enhance, and modernize legacy applications built in Java, Hibernate, and JZeno (custom server-side framework). You will also support the transition toward a modern microservices architecture.

  • 60-70% backend /30-40% frontend development 

Ready to embark on the journey? Here’s what we are looking for:

Good knowledge of:

  • Java 1.8+ (in general, we follow the LTS release of Java if technically possible)
  • Object Oriented design & development
  • Persistence API & Hibernate 4+
  • JSP, HMTL, CSS & JavaScript.
  • CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GIT, Maven, Bamboo)
  • Test driven development

Previous exposure to:

  • Spring Boot & Java EE
  • Database and integration technologies

We welcome:

  • Basic SQL and CI/CD pipelines
  • REST APIs and JSON
  • Apache POI for XLS
  • Issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
