Applied AI Engineering

The Applied AI Engineering team ensures our customers get the optimal experience from DevRev. As customers go through their DevRev journey, they may identify need(s) for integration with existing enterprise systems/services, workflow/process automation or customization/enhancement of the DevRev platform capabilities to achieve their business objectives. Our team works with customers to understand requirements and design, develop, and implement solutions to meet customer goals.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Leader for our Applied AI engineering team, focusing on building innovative solutions across our AgentOS platform. As the Engineering Leader, you will drive the technical strategy, oversee cross-functional collaboration, and ensure the delivery of scalable and impactful solutions for our customers. You will work closely with product, pre-sales, and post-sales teams to align engineering efforts with business objectives and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the technical vision and strategy for developing applications and solutions on our AgentOS platform.
  • Collaborate closely with pre-sales, post-sales, and customer-facing teams to ensure that engineering solutions meet client requirements and drive customer success.
  • Oversee the design, architecture, and development of scalable software solutions that leverage AI, analytics, and automation.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of projects, balancing the need for both innovation and stability.
  • Drive adoption of best practices for software development, including agile methodologies, DevOps, and code quality standards.
  • Act as a senior stakeholder in leadership meetings, providing technical input and aligning engineering efforts with company goals.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and excellence within the engineering team.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience (8+ years) in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong technical background with experience in TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Good understanding of AI/ML technologies, data analytics, and their application in building customer-focused solutions.
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and delivering complex, scalable products.
  • Experience in collaborating with pre-sales and post-sales teams to align technology with business objectives.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Prior experience in a SaaS, enterprise software, or platform-focused company.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
