About the Role
As a Software Engineer Intern, you will play a hands-on role in the development and orchestration of our Agentic Harness — the core automation and AI-agent network of the software factory. Rather than working in isolation, you will design the backend logic, integrate state-of-the-art LLMs, and build intuitive user interfaces to automate software engineering activities like code migration, refactoring, and code analysis.
This role is designed specifically for students who are passionate about backend development, modern frontend frameworks, and practical Generative AI applications. You will be paired with senior engineering mentors
to learn industry-standard software patterns, API development, and the design of AI-driven tools.

Qualifications

Profile

● Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
● Core Coding Foundations: Strong Interest in of at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or C#) and software design basics.
● Web Tech Basics: Understanding of REST APIs, JSON data structures,and database basics (SQL/NoSQL).
● AI Interest: Enthusiastic about Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and building applications with AI integrations.
● Git Practices: Comfortable with Git and basic collaborative development flows (pull requests, branching).
● Mindset: Proactive problem-solver with a strong willingness to learn,experiment, and write clean, maintainable code.

● Languages: French or Dutch Native and Fluency in English is required.

Technical Tech Stack (What you will use &learn)

● Backend: Python (FastAPI, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Pydantic) or Node.js (TypeScript).
● Frontend: React, HTML5/CSS3, and Tailwind CSS / Bootstrap.
● AI & Agents: OpenAI API, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, and multi-agent orchestrators.
● DevOps & Infrastructure: Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platformfundamentals ( AWS).
