Job Description

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join Devoteam Distributed Cloud unit to work within a Banking Sector project for a client of ours.

Devoteam Distributed Cloud unit is our multi cloud strategy and identity within the group Devoteam. We focus on developing solutions end to end within GCP, AWS or Azure and its technologies.

We will rely on you to

- Suggest improvements and optimizations that can be implemented in customer

environments;

- Resolve incident tickets and requests that customers make;

- Teamwork along with the company's internal teams as well as customer resources;

- Training, workshops and technical explanations for the customer and internal teams;

- Use of project development tools (DevOps, Jira, etc.);

- Follow-up and coordination of changes and technical operations (electrical shutdown, servers move, etc.);

- Drafting / major of instructions; 

- Document the components and operation of applications: software architecture, technical architecture, procedures, supervision needs, etc;

- Production of new versions of applications; 

- Management of treatment scheduling;

Carry out the commissioning of the new versions of applications in collaboration with the teams in charge of the development and maintenance of these applications and on the other hand with the technical teams: Systems engineers, Databases, Work and network possibly.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or similar;
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins, Jira and/or Confluence;
  • Experience in working with Windows and Linux OS;
  • Experience in writing Groovy scripts for executing commands on Jenkins for Build application;
  • Knowledge of Python, Shell and/or PowerShell;
  • Experience with Terraform and/or Kubernetes;
  • Experience with full SDLC lifecycle, taking from Dev to Release;
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken.
