Senior Test Engineer
Location: Washington, DC, us
Job Description
- Maintain, setup, design, and configure software test environments and labs.
- Create automated test scripts in java and javascript.
- Design and implement system test and regression plans, test cases, and automated test scripts.
- Develop Test Plans, build test cases and test data sets based upon the documented system requirements
- Report issues using a formal bug tracking system & work with the development team to resolve bugs/issues.
- Review test cases of junior team members ensuring adequate test coverage (positive, negative, and exception handling), adherence to coding standards, and appropriate automation.
Qualifications
- Experience implementing, designing, planning, and conducting comprehensive release and regression test
- Knowledge in applying test automation procedures
- Customer-focused
- Ability to triage issues
- Ability to lead a team (typical team sizes are 3-5)
