We invite an Intermediate Test Automation Engineer to join our collaborative team. In this role, you'll work on complex cloud-based systems, combining test automation with performance testing to help ensure their quality and performance. You'll create automated tests, analyze test results, and contribute to activities such as workload modeling, performance analysis, and CI/CD integration.

✅ Is that you?

• 1.5-4 years of experience in software testing or test automation
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and QA practices
• Strong Python and/or Scala scripting skills, including object-oriented programming
• Basic understanding of cloud-based systems and infrastructure components such as streams, queues, and hosts
• Experience analyzing test results and identifying issues or unexpected behavior
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong technical communication and collaboration skills
• Willingness to develop skills in performance testing and performance analysis
• Upper-Intermediate English level

Desirable:

• Hands-on experience with performance testing, including analyzing performance test results and metrics
• Experience profiling microservices, REST APIs, and database response times under load
• Experience with AWS or another major cloud platform
• Experience with AWS services such as CloudWatch, X-Ray, Fargate/ECS, or AWS Distributed Load Testing Solution
• Experience with Gatling, Locust, or k6
• Experience with containerization of load injection nodes using Docker
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, or New Relic
• Relevant certifications/courses, such as AWS Certified Developer/Solutions Architect – Associate, ISTQB Performance Testing Specialist, Gatling Academy, or k6/Grafana training

🧩Key responsibilities and your contribution

In this role, you'll contribute to ensuring the quality and performance of complex cloud-based systems.

• Create, maintain, and execute automated tests
• Design workload scenarios based on production traffic patterns and SLA/SLO requirements
• Script dynamic test scenarios with parameterization, correlation, data driving, and assertions
• Integrate load tests into CI/CD pipelines for automated regression testing
• Analyze performance test results and metrics to identify performance issues
• Profile microservices, REST APIs, and database response times under load
• Identify client/server-side bottlenecks and collaborate with developers on fixes
• Share test results and performance findings with technical teams and stakeholders
