Job Description

• Work as a developer with test engineers, project managers, technical leads, business owners, and analysts through the whole software development lifecycle, understanding, and refining requirements, designing and writing code, clearly documenting the development process
• Further development of the solutions, in close coordination with the stakeholders
• Guidance for the technical design and structure of the build, test and deployment processes 
• Implementation and extension of functions, such as intelligent search, navigation and personalization of content with integration of backend systems and digital services
• Close cooperation with the solution architects
• Develop multi-threaded server-based solutions for a wide range applications
• Build reusable components
• Implement release engineering related requirements (CI / CD, builds, development, and test environments), and enhance the team’s development infrastructure towards modern cloud environments and an increased level of automation
• Stay abreast of the new web development technologies; integrate them with the platform to further enhance the usability and efficiency 

Qualifications

You have successfully completed your studies in a technical / scientific field and gained deep knowledge in the following areas: 

• In-depth knowledge of process models and methods of software development with Java (JEE) and the necessary development tools (Eclipse, IntelliJ, Maven)
• Several years of experience in studio development (2-3 years and more)
• Database know-how (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL, Hibernate, noSQL)
• You are familiar with terms like JSON, Elastic, Solr, GraphQL, Docker
• Fluent English language knowledge
• The willingness to immerse yourself in new topics and to learn constantly
• Strong user and solution orientation
• Learn the programming language of the web business portal
• Work in a team as developer, responsible for Front-end and/or Back-end development
• Participate in deployments
• Front-end development: Fields, design
• Back end: Server logic, Data Bank logic
