Job Description

The Project Manager applies professional principles, practices, and techniques to lead project teams and control project schedule, cost, and performance risks to ensure the contracted outcome on time and in appropriate quality. This role has ultimate responsibility for all assigned Transition projects and manages customer satisfaction throughout the lifecycle of a Transition project. Also acts as OSS-BSS Tower lead, coordinating the work of project managers and technical teams.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Responsible to thoroughly understand and communicate customer requirements to appropriate team members and manage all requirements accordingly to realize each for the customer
  • Establish clear ownership for project tasks, ensure that team members have the environment needed, and provide timely feedback
  • Coordinate and facilitate delivery of project objectives
  • Track progress and review project tasks to make certain deadlines are met appropriately
  • Assess project issues and identify solutions to meet productivity, quality and customer goals
  • Proactively communicate project status, issues & risks to management
  • Follow T-Systems policies, procedures and methodologies
  • Conduct regular status meetings with all stakeholders, keeping the stakeholder’s needs and requirements continuously in view
  • Work collaboratively with development staff and project staff to maintain thorough knowledge of product capabilities, and to ensure that all communications between T-Systems and its stakeholders are precise
  • Travel worldwide to customer areas

Qualifications

  • Ability to respond to customer needs with a high level of customer focus and social competence
  • Exceptional analytical skills, ability to create suggestions and conclude decisions based on data
  • Proven ability in leadership, managing a diverse range of situations and resources of different interest
  • Excellent collaboration, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent English
  • At least B2 German knowledge
  • At least 3-5 years of project management experience
  • Experience with classic and agile project management methods
  • Project Management Certification eg. IPMA Level C or PMI PMP

Advantage

  • Tool knowledge of ServiceNow and PROJECTnow
