Job Description

You will be part of an innovative and agile work environment, where you will implement future-oriented network solutions with your DevOps skills to manage one of Telekom Deutschland's most focused projects!
Our group called VNI is responsible for the integration, validation and production of test results that meet the requirements of the Deutsche Telekom AG Platform. The environment for our work is provided by a 4,000 square meter lab in Germany, where you can find a complete copy of the live network. Our daily tasks are carried out remotely in several virtual Squads with German and international colleagues.

Tasks:

  • Take on the clarification of requirements in the area of ​​responsibility and adaptation of the software for certain products and services
  • Carry out the corresponding programming work (coding) and take on the installation, configuration and administration of the software for certain products and services
  • Create and maintain software documentation in the area of ​​responsibility and support lifecycle management for the software developed for products and services by proactively contributing your own ideas and suggestions for improvement
  • Working on the conception of test automation and the execution of tests

Qualifications

(minimum 4 from these):

  • Software engineering experience using extensive programming and language skills (Python, JavaScript,TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Java, Perl)
  • Experience in full stack development using appropriate frameworks (Web services, REST,  Application server, Micro services, (No) SQL databases, Vue.js )
  • Experience with virtualization and cloud technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Vmware, Terraform, OpenStack)
  • Experience in big data architectures and in the analysis of unstructured data (JSON, XML)
  • CI/CD knowledge (Jenkins, GitLab, JFrog Artifactory)
  • Experience in the conception of test automation and execution of tests (Ansible)
  • Practical experience in the use of modern tools for collaboration in agile teams (Jira)
  • Minimum B2 English
