Commercial Banking Tribe

You’ll be joining the Commercial Bank Tribe, who is focusing on the special needs of the small and medium enterprise clients in Germany, a designated area for further growth and investment within Corporate Bank.

We are responsible for the digital transformation of ~800.000 clients in 3 brands, i.e. the establishment of the BizBanking platform including development of digital sales and service processes as well as the automation of processes for this client segment.

We are on a journey of an extensive digitalisation of business processes and to migrate our applications to the cloud. We are working jointly together with our business colleagues in an agile setup and we are collaborating with stakeholders and engineers from other areas thriving to achieve a highly automated and adoptable process and application landscape.

As a Site Reliability Engineer (f/m/x) you will work in our platform squad, supporting the application teams with setting up infrastructure and applications focusing on automation.

Your key responsibilities

• You will collaborate with development teams and bring the application in the required state for automated deployment, recovery or observability.
• You will ensure that deployments are following bank standards, writing scripts.
• You will coordinate with development and infrastructure teams on production releases.
• You will observe infrastructure and application, providing feedback to development team and support on addressing identified issues.
• You will work in an agile setup, helping with feedback to improve our way of working.

Your skills and experiences

• University degree with technological or scientific focus or equivalent working experience.
• You are great collaborator and team player with ability to interface with multiple teams and functions.
• You bring some knowledge as DevOps Engineer or Configuration Manager or Side Reliability Engineer
• You have some of experience with mobile app deployment and maintenance
• You have Cloud-Provider experience with GCP, AZURE or AWS
• You have some experience in developing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines.
