In Liquidity domain we are working every day to help our corporate clients run their business more smoothly. The clients that will be using and/or benefiting from results of your work as well-known multinational corporates (many of which you know and use their products). The products we provide to clients are sight deposits, overdrafts, intraday credit-facilities, term deposits and off-balance sheet investments. Those products help clients to make payments to their employees, suppliers, and achieve their cash management goals.

As a Lead Kotlin/Java Engineer (f/m/x), you'll be a part of the Berlin-based team responsible for design and development of modern app managing full lifecycle of Corporate Deposits in locations around the world such as Frankfurt, London, New York, Singapore, etc.

This role will give you an opportunity to be responsible for technical solutions and share expertise across the team as well as hands-on daily development.

Your key responsibilities

• Define the future. Work closely with business and IT colleagues on functional and non-functional requirements. Take full ownership of a task: design, develop, review and write auto-tests for new functionality.

• Lead. When product and architecture experience is gained, provide guidance through leading and mentoring a team of software engineers.

• Coding, coding, coding. Current technology stack includes Java, Kotlin, Oracle DB, Spring Framework, Kafka, Jenkins, etc.

• Influence architecture. Design robust technical solutions and build them with the team.

• Have fun and enjoy.

Your skills and experiences

• Excellent Kotlin and/or Java knowledge including concurrency – 5+ years

• Experience designing and building high availability solutions and microservices

• Solid computer science (algorithms, data structures)

• Solid knowledge of SQL (Oracle optimization is a plus), Linux

• Experience with modern SDLC toolstack (Bitbucket, JIRA, Artifactory, Jenkins/TeamCity, etc.)

• Good written and spoken English

• People management experience would be a plus
