GCP Engineer

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled GCP Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate
will be responsible for performing work across multiple areas of the bank's overall IT
Platform/Infrastructure including analysis, development, The ideal candidate will have
a strong background in creating and maintaining GCP infrastructure using Teraform and
experience in building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions

Key Responsibilities:
· Planning and developing entire engineering solutions to accomplish business
goals
· Building reliability and resiliency into solutions with appropriate testing and
reviewing throughout the delivery lifecycle
· Ensuring maintainability and reusability of engineering solutions
· Participating in industry forums to drive adoption of innovative technologies,
tools and solutions in the Bank.

Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
· 7+ years of experience in engineering role(s)
· Strong analytical problem solving skills and a structured approach to converting
ideas into concepts, design and code
· Knowledge and experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
· Knowledge and experience in using Teraform for provisioning and maintaining
cloud environment
· Automation mindset and experience in designing and building CI/CD pipelines,
ideally Github Actions
· Solid knowledge of Linux, Docker, SQL, Kafka/PubSub
· Experience with SDLC tools – Git, JIRA, Artifactory, Github
· Knowledge and experience of agile values, principles and methods (e.g. based on
SCRUM or Kanban)

Preferred:
· Experience in implementing microservices with Java and Spring Boot
· Knowledge and experience on OWASP, oAuth2, OpenID Connect for
Authentication and Authorization , TLS / SSL
· Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, or equivalent.
· Knowledge of Javascript/Typescript on Node.js
