Job Description:

Role Overview

  • The Test Lead will provide technical, test, support to projects and activities across Business Platforms as part of Dentsu
  • The Test Lead will be expected to enable Automation for markets (end users), the central platform team and the DevOps build teams. It will be necessary to manage a small team of Automation resources. Must have strong Automation skills, client facing, customer satisfactions, and project management skills.
  • Should be both a self-starter and effective collaborator. Show strong interest in systems and process improvement, product knowledge with excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as good written and oral communication skills

Main Responsibilities

  • A deep, practical understanding of SDLC processes including Requirements, Design, Development, Build, Release Management, and Quality Assurance
  • Design Test Automation, Execution and Automation delivery using Selenium, Cucumber, and other similar tools
  • Should be involved in the Application feasibility, designing and implementation of Automation framework to the needs of multiple Business platform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop test case management/plans
  • Developing and implementing test case management strategies, creating and maintaining a test case repository.
  • Coordinate the Automaton Test workloads to successful release to SIT, E2E, UAT and Production
  • Daily, Weekly, and Monthly tracking of the team activities
  • Coordinate Automation Testing efforts (interaction/sync with customer, other work streams, offshore execution team)
  • Team working & very good communication skills
  • Update tasks real-time on VSTS and other tracking tools

Professional Skills

  • Minimum 7-8 years of work experience on core Testing Automation with minimum of 6 years’ experience in leading QE automation teams and implementing end-to-end automation and tools strategies/roadmaps
  • Minimum 2-3 years of work experience on core Testing Automation and implementing end-to-end automation and tools strategies/roadmaps
  • Must have hands on experience in Automation Testing with Selenium, Java/J2EE/.NET (Optional: Python)
  • Strong programming skills and coding knowledge in Java
  • Solid skills in framework design
  • Have experience with manual and automated testing preferably Selenium.
  • Design Test Automation, Execution and Automation delivery using Selenium, Cucumber, and other similar tools
  • Proficient in using various tools, such as Maven, TestNG, BDD Cucumber
  • Have a strong understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies, including test planning, test case review, test execution, and defect management.
  • Have experience working in Agile environments, preferably with experience in Scrum or Kanban methodologies. Be familiar with Agile principles, ceremonies, and practices.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey testing progress and status to project stakeholders, including developers, product owners, and management.
  • Working knowledge of BDD methodologies using Cucumber.
  • Design Test Automation, Execution and Lead automation delivery using Selenium, Cucumber, and other similar tools
  • Must have hands on experience to write comprehensive test cases and use test case management tools such as Azure DevOps (Azure test plan).
  • Work with the development team to understand the technologies and develop / implement automated testing tools for data comparison and transformation
  • Develop test tools, test beds, data mock ups, and other test infrastructure to continuously measure quality through Continuous testing and integration
  • Creating the Automation Test Plan, identifying, and mitigating risks, resolving issues, creations, and execution of test cases
  • Must have a comprehensive understanding of DevOps -CI CD, Jenkins, GIT
  • SDLC, Agile Methodology, Waterfall Methodology
  • Tools – TFS, JIRA, VSTS etc
  • Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as good written and oral communication skills
