At Deloitte, our Artificial Intelligence & Data Team drives innovation by transforming data into actionable insights that empower our clients. As a Data Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering cutting-edge data solutions across diverse industries, leveraging the latest technologies and our global network.

Key skills and prior experience

• A minimum of a third-level degree in Maths, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Proven experience leading and delivering complex data-related projects, with the ability to motivate and guide teams to achieve outstanding results
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including influencing senior leaders and providing expert advice based on industry best practices
• Commercial experience in information and data management, with familiarity in enterprise-grade data architecture technologies such as Cloudera CDP, Azure Databricks, and cloud-native environments

What type of work will I be doing?

• Scoping, designing, and leading the implementation of scalable data solutions and models using open source and proprietary technologies
• Developing technical specifications and architecture designs for data storage and management aligned with enterprise standards
• Ensuring data security and integrity are embedded within all architectural designs
• Leading and mentoring data analysts and engineers to deliver solutions aligned with target architectures
• Collaborating across Deloitte’s Technology and Transformation business areas to integrate data capabilities with broader organisational goals
• Managing client engagements across various industries, building trusted relationships and identifying growth opportunities
• Coaching junior team members, aligning their responsibilities with their professional development objectives

Where is this role based?

This role is based in Dublin or Cork, with a flexible working model that includes hybrid arrangements between office and client sites.
