The DevSecOps Engineering team ensures that all Dell Digital teams and applications are using the industry standard security products for managing secrets and credentials in Secure Development Lifecycle. The security products and platforms will be integrated in DevOps CI/CD pipeline to improve the developer experience. Engineers will work with platforms, application teams and architects with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and external partners.

What you’ll achieve
As a Senior Principal Software Engineer for AI Security, you will be a part of a team in a very fast paced, agile environment that requires strong technical ability, flexibility, sound judgement and creative thinking.  

You will:

• Explore and make recommendations on security products
• Follow Secure Development Lifecycle standards and practices
• Work with external Vendors to manage the backlog and roadmap
• Leverage AI capabilities to scan AI models and Engines
• Integrate Security products in DevOps ecosystem

Essential Requirements
 

• Experience with DevOps, Security tools, scans and vulnerability remediation
• Strong programming background with mastery skills in at least one programming languages and like Java, .NET, Go or Python (preferred) and databases (Microsoft SQL or Postgres preferred)
• Understanding of AI capabilities like Large Language Models, Generative AI and knowledge of Embeddings & vector similarities
• Experience with Cloud Native Container platforms like Kubernetes, Container on Base Metal and Linux/Windows Server Operating Systems
• Experience with Security scanning and enforcements for on-prem Large Language Models and data models

Desirable Requirements
 

• 12+ years of software development experience including 3+ years of experience in DevOps/DevSecOps in a professional role with a bachelor’s degree
