PowerStore Performance Principal Engineer

What you’ll achieve

You will work within PowerStore Performance Engineering to support development of new platforms, features, and algorithms. As a Performance Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for detailed analysis of results and communication of their findings to a variety of internal customers including software developers and engineering leadership.

You will:

• support development of new platforms, features, and algorithms.
• design, development and execution of experiments in order to characterize storage array performance throughout the development cycle (this includes IO performance, as well as that of storage and host based features)
• generation of limited-scope presentations and whitepapers for use as field reference

Essential Requirements

• Proficiency in concepts of computing performance
• Proficiency in developing automated tests in Python
• Familiarity with Linux and ESXi
• Familiarity with Agile development methodology
• Leadership capability in execution of complex initiatives 
• Basic storage network administration knowledge

Desirable Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience or equivalent
• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
