Platform Principal Supplier Process Engineer

Our Supplier Process Engineering team works with our suppliers to enable them to produce materials and components of the highest quality. Working closely with our product developers, we select and monitor vendors and suppliers who can meet our high engineering and quality standards. In addition, we perform regular auditing and undertake design and development engineering assignments to develop new products or update existing products. We’re also experts in establishing systems and procedures to enhance overall quality.

What you’ll achieve:
As a Platform Principal Supplier Process Engineer, you will be responsible to manage the platform overall material quality, both NPI(New Product Initiative ) and Sustaining quality.

You will:

  • Keep monitoring and driving the incoming material quality improvement (SVLRR/FRR/FIR/HSR) with internal function teams and commodity Supplier Process Engineer teams

  • Conduct STSM(Sub-Tier Supplier Management ) and collaborate with ODM Supplier Process Engineer to manage ODM managed material quality

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience with a bachelor's degree in engineering.

  • Sufficient platform, ME （Mechanical Engineer） or EE （Electrical Engineering） parts/process knowledge. Strong FA (failure analysis) and data analysis capabilities

  • Excellent communication and influence skills in English.

  • Excellent program management and reporting skills.

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to lead the decision-making process across multiple areas of the business.
