QA Engineer – Relocation Opportunity (USA)
Location: Remote

We are looking for a QA Engineer with experience in both manual and automation testing, who is passionate about quality, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with a leading automotive company headquartered in Fremont, California.

- On-site position in Fremont, California
- Must have Mexican nationality
- Valid Mexican passport required
- Bachelor’s degree and professional license (cédula profesional)
What you bring
- 3+ years of experience in Software QA (Manual & Automation).
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
- Experience testing REST APIs (Postman, Swagger, etc.).
- Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar).
- Familiarity with AI tools applied to testing or development workflows.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Knowledge of test case management and bug tracking tools (Jira, TestRail, etc.).
- Advanced English (required) – ability to communicate effectively in meetings and with international teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Basic programming/scripting skills (JavaScript, Python, or similar)
- Performance or load testing experience
- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
What you'll do
- Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases
- Validate REST APIs (functional, integration, and regression testing)
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality releases
- Identify, document, and track bugs and inconsistencies
- Participate in test planning, test strategy, and continuous improvement of QA processes
- Leverage AI tools to optimize testing processes and improve efficiency
- Ensure quality across the full software development lifecycle
