Back End Developer - USA Relocation

Location: Monterrey, Mexico

At Definity, a leading technology company focused on AI-driven solutions and digital transformation, we are continuously expanding our team to support innovative, high-impact projects. We are seeking a Back-End Developer to join a mission-critical project with a leading manufacturing company in Fremont, California.

Important Considerations:

• Relocation to the United States, Fremont California is required, TN Visa sponsorship provided
• This opportunity is open to candidates based in Mexico with a valid Mexican passport and an active visa (tourist or otherwise)
• Bachelor's degree and professional license (cédula profesional)

What you bring

• 5+ years of hands-on experience building backend systems in production environments
• At least 1 year of recent experience with Go; proficiency in Java, C++, or Rust is also valued
• Solid grasp of backend fundamentals: SQL databases, networking, APIs, and security best practices
• Strong communication skills and ability to drive technical projects from kickoff to production
• Advanced English proficiency

Nice to have

• Background in manufacturing, industrial tech, or enterprise systems
• Experience with REST or gRPC API design
• Familiarity with production-critical environments and on-call rotations

What you'll do

• Build and maintain high-quality backend services that solve real manufacturing challenges
• Own projects end-to-end, from requirements and architecture through implementation, testing, and deployment
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain
• Engage directly with stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and drive implementation
• Contribute to a culture of engineering excellence through code reviews, mentorship, and best practices
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and security in a mission-critical environment
