🧑‍💻 What You'll Do

• Maintain and improve our cloud infrastructure footprint.

• Own and drive our SaaS architecture, making and executing key decisions.

• Ensure we anticipate infrastructure problems before they arise.

• Elevate our Infrastructure as Code and CICD practices with tools like Terraform and CircleCI.

• Build reusable components for other engineering teams to interface with infrastructure.

• Help our community of data scientists and developers succeed with Deepnote.

👤 About you

• You have 5+ years of experience as a Platform Engineer, Cloud Architect, or Cloud Engineer, ideally within the SaaS space.

• You’re hands-on with AWS, particularly with services like RDS, EKS, and cloud security. You’re also proficient in Docker and containerization.

• You’ve worked with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform (or similar tools like CloudFormation), and you have experience building CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or Jenkins.

• You’re pragmatic and excel in environments where efficiency is key. You approach complex problems with clarity and practicality, always eager to learn and adapt.

• You thrive in a collaborative environment but can also take full ownership of projects, driving them forward independently and reliably. You communicate technical concepts clearly and work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.

➕ Bonus Points

• Proficiency with GCP and/or Azure in addition to AWS.

• Experience with full-stack development (React, TypeScript, Node.js).

• Familiarity with Python and data-related libraries.

• A passion for notebooks!
