Job Summary:

The Expert Communications & Engagement Associate owns the engagement of industry experts end to end — from sourcing and qualification through to conducting expert calls and building lasting relationships across Dedale's expert network. Building on the Support foundation of research, outreach, scheduling and structured data enrichment, the Associate steps into a front-line role: leading expert conversations, capturing high-value market intelligence first-hand, and nurturing experts into long-term, reactivatable relationships.

The role is central to turning raw sourcing into structured, decision-grade intelligence, ensuring every expert interaction strengthens both the immediate project and the long-term durability of Dédale's expert network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and evaluate industry professionals and prospective executive candidates relevant to assigned research or talent mandates

  • Conduct outreach to engage professionals and candidates, and build relationships that support ongoing participation and future re-engagement

  • Conduct structured conversations to gather relevant background, expertise, and insight, and accurately document findings

  • Assess and qualify the credibility and relevance of each professional or candidate profile before adding them to the database

  • Maintain accurate, organized, and up to date records within internal systems

  • Support research and talent teams by understanding project requirements and adapting outreach and qualification criteria accordingly

  • Follow internal guidelines on information handling, call scope, and professional conduct when engaging external contacts

Your Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to engage senior professionals confidently and credibly

  • Prior experience in research, interviewing, recruiting, sourcing, or client facing roles is an advantage

  • Strong online research skills and sound judgment in assessing credibility and relevance of information

  • High attention to detail and comfort with structured documentation and data organization

  • Curious, resourceful, and comfortable initiating conversations with people at senior professional levels

  • Able to manage a high volume of outreach while maintaining accuracy and quality

  • Discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive or confidential information
