We’re now looking for a Technical QA Engineer who enjoys writing tests, building automation, and increasing the bandwidth of our automated test coverage helping reduce manual QA pressure and enabling teams to ship with confidence.

This is a great role for someone early in their career, or a developer-minded QA who prefers code over checklists.

What you’ll do

• Design, write, and maintain automated tests for frontend and backend systems

• Build and evolve test automation frameworks using tools such as Playwright

• Develop UI and API tests integrated into CI pipelines

• Work closely with developers to ensure testability and quality are built in from day one

• Increase automated test coverage to reduce reliance on manual testing

• Improve test stability, execution time, and reliability

• Review code with a quality and automation mindset

What we’re looking for

• Strong interest in automated testing and quality engineering

• Experience writing tests in code (TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, or similar)

• Hands-on experience with Playwright or other UI automation tools

• Basic understanding of modern web applications, APIs, HTTP, DOM model

• Familiarity with Git-based workflows and CI environments

• A developer mindset — you enjoy solving problems, not just validating outcomes

This role is well suited for both a junior or senior technical QA engineer, or a developer transitioning into QA.

Nice to have

• Experience with frontend or fullstack development

• Experience building or maintaining automation test suites

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test execution in cloud environments

• Interest in test architecture, reliability, or performance testing

Technology stack

• Frontend: React, TypeScript

• Backend: Node.js, TypeScript

• Cloud: AWS (serverless architecture)

• Testing: Playwright, Vitest, automated API testing, CI-integrated pipelines
