Key Responsibilities:

SAP System Administration

• Perform daily SAP Basis operations, including system monitoring, performance tuning, job scheduling, and transport management.
• Administer SAP S/4HANA environments (development, QA, production, and sandbox).
• Manage SAP Fiori landscape — gateway configuration, catalog management, and app performance.
• Conduct regular system health checks, kernel upgrades, and patch management.

SAP BTP and Cloud ALM

• Manage integrations and extensions deployed on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Configure subaccounts, destinations, and trust configurations between BTP and SAP S/4HANA.
• Support deployment of custom applications via CAP or UI5 running on BTP.
• Utilize SAP Cloud ALM for system monitoring, change management, and process documentation.
• Set up alerting, dashboards, and automation workflows within Cloud ALM.

System Landscape and Integration

• Maintain and document the SAP landscape architecture across on-premise and cloud systems.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, network, and security teams to ensure connectivity and compliance.
• Support integration with third-party systems through IDoc, API, or CPI/MuleSoft middleware.
• Troubleshoot interface issues between SAP and non-SAP systems.

Security, Backup, and Compliance

• Manage user administration, roles, and authorizations in coordination with the security team.
• Implement and maintain system backups, DR testing, and high-availability configurations.
• Ensure SAP systems comply with internal IT controls, SOX, and audit requirements.

Projects and Continuous Improvement

• Support SAP upgrade and migration projects, including version upgrades and OS/DB migrations.
• Provide technical input for SAP enhancement and implementation projects.
• Evaluate and recommend tools or automation scripts to improve Basis operations efficiency.
• Stay current with SAP innovations, cloud best practices, and Basis optimization strategies.

Requirements:
Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of hands-on SAP Basis experience, including S/4HANA administration.
• Proven experience managing Fiori, BTP, and SAP Cloud ALM environments.
• Experience in both on-premises and RISE Private Cloud landscapes preferred
• SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP S/4HANA System Administration preferred
• SAP Certified Associate – SAP BTP Administration preferred
• ITIL Foundation Certification preferred

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of SAP Basis concepts (system refresh, transport, RFCs, background jobs, client copies).
• Expertise in SAP HANA database administration and performance optimization.
• Experience with Fiori Launchpad, OData services, and front-end troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with SAP BTP, subaccount configuration, and integration with on-premises SAP systems.
• Working knowledge of SAP Cloud ALM, Solution Manager, or Focused Run.
• Understanding of OS (Linux/Windows) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of SAP security and authorization concepts.
