• Design Oversight: Lead and manage the electrical design process for data center projects, including power distribution, backup power systems (UPS and generators), lighting, and emergency systems.
Project Coordination: Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to integrate electrical designs with overall project plans.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and expertise in electrical systems, ensuring designs meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications.
Design Reviews: Conduct and oversee design reviews, ensuring that all electrical designs are accurate, feasible, and aligned with project objectives.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure that electrical designs comply with relevant codes and standards, including NEC, IEC, and other local regulations.
Quality Assurance: Implement quality control processes to verify the accuracy and reliability of electrical designs and systems.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges related to electrical design and implementation, providing solutions that minimize project risks.
Vendor Coordination: Work with vendors and suppliers to specify and select electrical equipment, ensuring compatibility with design requirements and project needs.
• Documentation: Prepare and review design documentation, including technical specifications, drawings, and reports, ensuring thorough and accurate records.
