The role

We’re looking for an experienced manager of product managers with experience in driving adoption of high-volume healthcare (100k+ business users, and many more patient and provider users) products, and is passionate about improving efficiency and ease of use for large operations teams. Experience in B2B healthcare is a must.

You are commercial (Should engage with this type of customer? What should this new product be priced at? How can we reduce cost?), excited about being the first person selling to customers to discover pricing and positioning and market opportunity, operational (How can we leverage mail and CS touchpoints to drive behavior changes and move from mail to digital? How can we measure team efficiency and give them the tools they need to do more?), and market-savvy (what are we competing against? What are our customers’ expectations? Where should we be moving to get ahead?) You’re constantly asking “build, buy, partner, or ignore?” You’re one to get excited when you see a challenge in making complex systems speak to each other, you love trying new things, and learning about and improving your craft. And, finally, you are passionate about building and coaching a high-performing team.

As the product manager for the ROI zone, your goal is to discover and develop a strategy and accompanying solutions to support our requesters and our internal operations teams—facilitating the exchange of clinical information—keeping our providers happy, and digitizing the workflows that enable this.

Your first 30 days will include

  • Learning all about the core business of information exchange / release of information in healthcare
  • Defining, with Head of Provider Product, the next version of the charter of this pod
  • Shipping several key improvements that’ll positively impact tens of millions of patients’ lives
  • Working out with your engineering team how you’d like to work

What you bring to the table

  • 8+ years of product management experience in tech-forward companies, with 3+ years of people management experience
  • Experience in the healthcare provider / services industry, preferably with enterprise health data
  • Experience coming up to speed in a regulated industry, inexplicable desire to read and grapple with regulations
  • Kindness, smartness, and the ability to Get Things Done

Our compensation philosophy is to be externally competitive, internally fair, and not win or lose on compensation. Salary ranges for this position are developed with the support of benchmarks and industry best practices.

The range posted is for a given job title, which can include multiple levels. Individual rates for the same job title may differ based on their level, responsibilities, skills, and experience for a specific job. The estimated salary range for this role is  $180,000-240,000.
