About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Informatica Cloud Data Quality Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise-wide data quality solutions within the Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) platform. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in data profiling, cleansing, validation, standardization, matching, and governance-aligned data quality processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain data profiling, validation, standardization, matching, deduplication, and scorecard processes using Informatica Cloud Data Quality (CDQ).
- Define and implement business rules, data quality checks, exception handling, and remediation workflows.
- Develop metadata-driven quality controls aligned with enterprise data governance and catalog initiatives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data stewards, and technical teams to identify critical data elements and quality thresholds.
- Integrate data quality processes with source systems, target platforms, and governance/catalog solutions.
- Analyze data quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and support remediation activities.
- Design reusable rules, mappings, workflows, and templates to support scalable project delivery.
- Support testing, deployment, release management, and production stabilization activities.
- Monitor and optimize data quality jobs, workflows, and scorecards.
- Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and operational runbooks.
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for support teams and business stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in Data Quality, Data Governance, or Data Management initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC).
- Strong expertise in Informatica Cloud Data Quality (CDQ).
- Experience in data profiling, data cleansing, matching, deduplication, standardization, and validation frameworks.
- Knowledge of metadata management and data governance concepts.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
- Experience integrating data quality processes across enterprise applications and cloud environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Informatica Cloud Data Governance & Catalog (CDGC)
- Understanding of data stewardship and master data management concepts.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Informatica certification is highly desirable.
