The Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for collaborating with suppliers to assure the quality of their products, materials, components and/or operations. Monitors supplier performance and supports efforts to develop and implement changes to improve the production process. Follows up with suppliers on quality deviations and ensures that solutions are identified and implemented.

This position is part of the Custom Engineering organization located in Pune and will be an on-site role. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

• Monitor supplier quality performance and drive improvement actions. Lead supplier non-conformance investigations and corrective actions using tools such as 8D, 5 Why, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and follow-up activities. Support qualification of new suppliers and supplier development initiatives. Review supplier documentation, inspection records, and quality data.
• Collaborate with Sourcing, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to resolve supplier-related issues.
• Analyze supplier performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) and support continuous manufacturing activities at supplier locations.

Who you are:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Production, Industrial, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, or related discipline.

• 4 to 8 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, Quality Assurance, or Supplier Development.
• Experience with fabrication, machining, welding, pressure vessels, skids, piping, or electromechanical assemblies.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
