Principal (Senior) Digital Engineer

Job Description

· Define digital and software architecture for intelligent equipment, PAT-enabled workflows, automation platforms, and integrated bioprocess solutions.

· Translate customer, business, workflow, and hardware project needs into system integration requirements and digital solution designs.

· Design integration across equipment, sensors, PAT tools, automation systems, databases, cloud applications, analytics tools, and external digital ecosystems.

· Act as the technical bridge across PAT, automation, hardware, digital/software teams, customers, commercial teams, and ecosystem partners in China.

· Enable cloud, AI, data analytics, digital workflow, and decision-support applications for bioprocess and PAT-related innovation projects.

· Define AI-ready and data-ready requirements, including data structure, connectivity, quality, traceability, and integration hooks.

· Support hardware projects by embedding digital capabilities early in architecture, interface design, data connectivity, testing, and release readiness.

· Evaluate digital solution feasibility, integration readiness, scalability, cybersecurity, data compliance, and long-term platform fit.

· Collaborate with China and global teams to align digital strategy, project execution, partner engagement, and reusable integration best practices.
