This position reports to the Director, Global ETO Engineering , Energy+ and is part of the Engineering department, team of Energy+ Business Unit, located in Pune and will be an on-site role

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Generate designs which meets customer specifications and offers safe and reliable/robust design which is easy to manufacture/operate and maintain. 
• Work as part of a cross functional team designing and detailing products ensuring safety and functionality are met in accordance with the customer requirements and current legislation.
• Support technical clarification meetings with other groups at Pall as well as customers and suppliers & support troubleshooting and problem-solving activities with customers, suppliers on product technical issues. 

Experience & Qualification:
- B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical or equivalent) with 1-2 years of Design experience Oil & Gas or Refinery sector.

- Experience in pressure vessel design as per ASME/PED standard. 
- Understanding of P&ID, piping systems, skidded systems
- Very good communication, especially English

- Good knowledge of major manufacturing processes including welding, machining, forming, molding/ casting and sealing mechanisms.
- 3D and 2D CAD skills
- Experience of piping design (CAESAR-II) and structure design (StaadPro) will be an advantage
