Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer / Expert within the Electrical discipline. In this position you would preferably be located in Vaasa, but other locations in Finland can be discussed (Vaasa, Espoo, Pietarsaari, Turku).

As Senior Design Engineer / Expert, you are in charge of the Electrical design. In this position you would have a key role in Cyient’s design team and in customer communication.

Qualifications needed:

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical or Automation Engineering
• Previous experience in Electrical design tasks in industrial engineering projects
• Knowledge and understanding of areas in Plant & Process electrification, Power generation, Substation and Distribution systems in power and industrial process plants
• Experience in modern 3D design tools and other engineering tools used in Electrical discipline
• Experience of Power System Studies and ETAP calculation software is seen as an advantage. 
• Good communication skills in English, Finnish or Swedish language skills are an advantage
