Job Description

War on Cost has an opening for a Project Engineer to work on Systems and Product Change & Incorporation reviews of aircraft engine systems and components. The project engineer position will lead reviews, assure requirements are met, and drive quality and reliability.

Job Requirements:

• Responsibilities of the Project Engineer will include supporting execution of systems, product design change, and incorporation reviews.
  • Work with systems, product engineering, and manufacturing integrated product team members to identify reviewers, schedule, host, and participate in reviews.
  • Record meeting minutes, actions items, attendees, and update electronic product databases.
  • Process workflow requests for post-review requirements in accordance with engineering standard work.
  • Monitor, track, and close actions and reviews working with the responsible team members to ensure completeness based on regulation requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent experience or an Advance Degree in related field with minimum 1-3 years’ experience
• Ability to use Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and electronic databases
• Candidate must have good written and oral presentation skills
• Ability to host and facilitate reviews using electronic software, communicate with customers, and efficiently track and manage incoming requests.
• US Citizenship required due to government contracts.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with aircraft and or engine engineering processes
• Experience in Product Data Management (PDM) or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) as a Project Leader, Engineer, or related position.
• Experience with SharePoint and Teamcenter PLM systems
