Job Description

Location: East Hartford, CT

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and refine advanced solid models for comprehensive engineering analysis and validation, ensuring design integrity and performance.
  • Review and annotate inspection and repair documentation, providing detailed comments and graphics to facilitate clarity and understanding.
  • Contribute to the creation of technical documentation that outlines engineering requirements for repairs, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to facilitate accurate and efficient data exchange, promoting a culture of teamwork and innovation.
  • Interpret and analyze complex technical data to support informed engineering decisions and drive continuous improvement in design processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, with 8+ years of experience, preferably in gas turbine design and analysis.
  • Extensive experience with Pratt & Whitney Aerospace products and systems is preferred.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting part blueprints, with a strong familiarity with ASME Y14.5M standards.
  • In-depth understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
  • Able to navigate and use MS Office and experience in creating detailed engineering documentation.
  • Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with GTF Engine Compressor/Turbine Rotors hardware and associated technologies.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of gas turbine engine operating theory and performance metrics.
  • Experience in developing and implementing standard operating procedures and best practices.
  • Must meet requirements under ITAR and EAR regulations (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee status).
