THE OPPORTUNITY
Cyera is developing a Managed Data Security & Response (MDSR) service (named Data Watcher) that will provide continuous data risk detection, automated response, and expert-led investigation, ensuring organizations can proactively defend against evolving threats.
We are seeking a Director of Product Marketing to lead the go-to-market strategy, positioning, and messaging for our MDSR service. This is a high-impact role, driving market awareness, demand generation, and customer adoption of Cyera’s managed security solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define and execute the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for Cyera’s Managed Data Security & Response service.
- Craft compelling messaging and positioning that differentiates Cyera in the managed data security space.
- Collaborate with product management to align marketing initiatives with the product roadmap and market needs.
- Develop thought leadership content, including whitepapers, blogs, case studies, and presentations.
- Create sales enablement assets, including battle cards, sales decks, and competitive intelligence briefs.
- Establish Cyera as a trusted voice in the industry by engaging in analyst briefings, speaking opportunities, and industry events.
- Conduct market research to understand customer pain points, industry trends, and emerging threats.
- Monitor competitive offerings to refine Cyera’s differentiation and positioning.
- Work closely with customer success and sales teams to gather insights and refine messaging.
- Partner with demand generation teams to develop high-impact marketing campaigns that drive awareness and pipeline growth.
- Collaborate with the sales team to deliver training, pitch strategies, and objection handling.
- Support partner marketing efforts to expand Cyera’s reach in the security ecosystem.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 7+ years of product marketing experience in cybersecurity, data security, or cloud security.
- Strong understanding of data security, threat detection, identity security, and compliance.
- Proven experience in marketing managed security services or SaaS-based security solutions.
- Exceptional ability to translate technical capabilities into compelling business value.
- Strong storytelling, content creation, and public speaking skills.
- Experience working cross-functionally.
COMPENSATION INFORMATION:
In addition to a standard benefits and equity package, we offer a generous salary. Final compensation will vary based on seniority and relevance of experience, location, and position requirements.
This role may be eligible for potential merit increases based on factors such as individual or company performance, time in role, and other discretionary factors.
