We seek an experienced and innovative Cloud Security Research Manager who will lead a talented team of researchers. This role requires an exceptional blend of security experience, deep technical understanding, and a strategic mindset to drive impactful research initiatives that continuously shape and redefine the data security landscape. The ideal candidate will be adept at building relationships across teams, fostering innovation, and transforming research insights into practical solutions for our cutting-edge products.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of cloud security researchers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Guide the team in researching, focusing on identity architectures, authorization mechanisms, and related services.
• Conduct hands-on research into the security postures of various cloud providers alongside the team. Create best practices and data security policies based on research findings.
• Stay current on the latest trends, threats, techniques, and innovations in the cyber security field, and effectively disseminate this knowledge to enhance team capabilities.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product teams to translate research insights into valuable product enhancements and features.
• Mentor and develop team members, identifying and addressing gaps in skills and knowledge, and building a culture of continuous learning.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in security research, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven expertise in security posture research with delivered insights and best practice policy configurations.
• Working Knowledge and proven experience in programming and scripting in Python and Bash\cloud CLI.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases, Proficiency in analyzing large-scale data sets.
• Experience with project and resource management, including prioritization of research initiatives to align with organizational goals and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
