Founded by an elite group of Israeli security researchers, we deliver cutting-edge cyber solutions to enterprises of all sizes and the Israeli government. In addition to our services group, we are developing a unique cybersecurity product designed to bring a completely new approach to the cyber market.

Cyberillium is looking for a Cyber Research Solutions Expert to work directly with security and defense customers, translating complex and often ambiguous technical needs into clearly defined security research initiatives. The role reports directly to the General Manager and works closely with company leadership to shape, position, and advance customer-driven research engagements.

This role sits at the intersection of low-level security research, technical discovery, and customer engagement. While the role does not involve day-to-day hands-on research, it requires deep technical credibility and prior hands-on experience to effectively guide, challenge, and shape research execution across teams. This background is critical for accurately framing research problems and leading proof-of-concepts (POCs) from ideation through validation.

Requirements

• Lead technical discovery and scoping sessions with security and defense customers.
• Translate high-level or ambiguous customer requirements into structured security research scopes, defining objectives, assumptions, risks, success criteria, and viable research paths.
• Serve as the primary technical interface between customers and Cyberillium’s internal vulnerability research teams.
• Identify adjacent research directions, follow-on initiatives, and expansion opportunities emerging from customer engagements.
• Own the technical definition and framing of POCs, from hypothesis formulation through validation and presentation of results.
• Bridge customer context, business considerations, and low-level security research methodologies to ensure alignment throughout delivery.

Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in low-level vulnerability research, either as an alumni of offensive cyber intelligence units or in equivalent industry roles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical documentation and customer-facing materials.
• Strong working knowledge of vulnerability classes, exploitation techniques, security research workflows, and common research tools (e.g., IDA, Ghidra, Frida, QEMU, Wireshark).
• Proven ability to translate loosely defined problems into actionable, well-scoped technical research methodologies.
• Experience leading or supporting security-focused POCs, technical evaluations, exploratory research initiatives, or technical pre-sales activities.
• High level of ownership, autonomy, and comfort operating in ambiguous environments.
• Excellent English, both written and spoken.
