Project ManagerJob Description Summary
As the Project Manager, you will provide professional project management expertise across a range of capital works and refurbishment projects. You’ll work closely with the State Manager, client representatives, and internal service lines to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with healthcare operational requirements.Job Description
Applicants must be Australian Citizens and possess a strong healthcare facilities or healthcare project delivery background.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning — Develop agendas, master budgets, and timelines for all project phases
Stakeholder Coordination — Work closely with healthcare representatives, facility teams, and internal C&W service lines
Consultant & Contractor Management — Assist with selection, contracting, and oversight of delivery partners
Reporting & Documentation — Prepare project reports, drawing reviews, and updates across design and construction phases
Financial Oversight — Review requisitions, change orders, and invoices
Compliance & Safety — Ensure adherence to building codes, WHS, safety regulations, and client policies
Continuous Improvement — Maintain high standards of performance and stay current with industry best practice
About You
You are a capable project leader with strong experience delivering projects in healthcare environments or other regulated, complex operational facilities. You bring:
Australian Citizenship (mandatory)
Healthcare project delivery experience (mandatory)
5+ years’ experience in engineering/construction project management
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Experience leading consultants, contractors, and project teams
Ability to manage budgets, timelines, compliance, and risk
Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field
Experience with fit‑outs, refurbishments, or building service upgrades
