Overview
We are seeking a skilled Python Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining automation solutions to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance system performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, test, and deploy automation scripts and frameworks that support business operations and software development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using Python to optimize workflows and system performance.
- Design, implement, and execute test automation frameworks for software applications.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and reporting processes to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with software developers, DevOps engineers, and QA teams to integrate automation solutions.
- Write and maintain clear, concise documentation for automation tools and processes.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve automation-related issues.
- Continuously research and implement best practices in automation to enhance performance and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with security and quality standards in automation processes.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, PyTest, Robot Framework).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Knowledge of API testing and automation (e.g., REST, SOAP, Postman).
- Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases for data-driven automation.
- Experience with scripting and configuration management (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Bash, PowerShell).
- Understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices in test automation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
