We are looking for a talented Machining Engineer – Weekend Night Shift (On-Site) to join our team specializing in Engineering for our Seymour Machining Center in Seymour, IN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Support Efficient Manufacturing Processes
Assist in planning and implementing machining processes that improve productivity and meet product specifications. - Collaborate on Tooling and Part Selection
Work with engineering teams to identify necessary parts and tools, reducing setup times and optimizing changeovers. - Contribute to Product and Performance Improvements
Analyze product issues and recommend enhancements to improve quality and operational efficiency. - Participate in Design and Development Activities
Assist in the design, development, and evaluation of technical products and systems to ensure alignment with manufacturing goals. - Perform Equipment Evaluations and Documentation
Conduct engineering design assessments and document findings, recommending design alterations to enhance quality and reliability. - Drive Continuous Improvement Initiatives
Utilize lean and continuous improvement tools to increase equipment availability and capability across the plant. - Enhance Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with engineering, operations, and supplier teams to ensure seamless integration of machining processes. - Support Implementation of Advanced Technologies
Contribute to the adoption of innovative machining solutions that improve efficiency and reduce operational risk.
