QA Tester - Platform & Dashboards

Description

We are seeking a detail-loving QA Tester to join our data products team and help keep our analytics platform sharp, reliable, and business-ready. In this role, you’ll test dashboards, features, and workflows to make sure everything not only works smoothly, but also makes sense for real users making real decisions.

You will collaborate closely with product owners, engineers, BI developers, and business stakeholders to validate requirements, and ensure every release is accurate, intuitive, and ready to go live with confidence.

Your main playground will be our analytics platform and its embedded dashboards, with occasional opportunities to support Power BI dashboard testing when needed.

Requirements

• At least 2+ years of experience as a QA Tester, Software Tester, Data QA Analyst, BI Tester, Business Analyst, or similar role
• Experience testing web platforms, dashboards, reports, or data-driven applications
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies in data, visuals, logic, and user flows
• Ability to write clear test cases, bug reports, and validation documentation
• Experience with automation testing tools, frameworks, or test scripts is a plus
• Basic understanding of business metrics, dashboard logic, and data validation principles
• Comfortable working with evolving, imperfect, or incomplete datasets
• SQL knowledge or experience validating data directly from databases is preferred
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms is a plus
• Experience with regression, smoke, UAT, or end-to-end testing methodologies is preferred
• Comfortable working in cross-functional and fast-paced environments
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Organized, analytical, and proactive in identifying risks, issues, and improvement opportunities
