Job Title: ETL TesterSummary:
We are seeking an experienced ETL Tester to join our Data Engineering team in the MT department. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in ETL testing and a strong background in data engineering. The ETL Tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases for ETL processes
- Identify and report defects in data transformation and loading processes
- Work closely with data engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Collaborate with business analysts to understand data requirements
- Participate in data validation and reconciliation activities
- Document test results and provide recommendations for process improvement
- Stay current on industry best practices and emerging technologies in ETL testing
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in ETL testing
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL tools
- Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages
- Experience with data quality tools and techniques
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
