About the Role:

CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for our Falcon Cloud Security team, specifically focusing on Cloud Runtime Products. This role will lead the team developing the CDR product in close collaboration with other platform teams along with designing and developing the control plane services for Cloud runtime sensors.

The position requires deep domain expertise in cloud security and a proven track record of building and leading high-performing engineering teams.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and grow a specialized backend engineering team focused on realtime CDR & highly scalable Cloud control plane services
• Collaborate closely with Falcon Cloud Platform teams to integrate and drive requirements for CDR product
• Collaborate closely with security research and data science teams to build cutting edge detection engineering capabilities
• Design and implement highly scalable backend services for large scale configuration and management of sensors and pipelines to process large amount of telemetry data
• Drive product strategy and prioritization in collaboration with product management
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members
• Interface with customers to understand needs and ensure successful product adoption
• Make critical decisions about technical architecture and product direction
• Manage resource allocation and team capacity planning
• Drive hiring initiatives to build and maintain a high-performing engineering team
• Establish and maintain engineering best practices and technical standards

What You'll Need:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 8+ years of engineering management experience with a strong technical background
• Extensive experience in Cloud Security
• Deep technical knowledge of major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong programming skills in Python and Go
• Proven track record of delivering complex technical products
• Strong experience in cross team collaboration and stakeholder management
• Excellence in people management and team development
• Experience in AI driven development methodologies
• Demonstrated ability in strategic planning and execution
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in hiring and developing engineering talent
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with distributed systems and data processing technologies (Kafka, ElasticSearch, Postgres)
• Experience with cloud security frameworks and standards
• Knowledge of security automation and orchestration
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Contributions to open-source projects or security communities

Location:
This position is based in our Tel Aviv, Israel office and requires strong leadership presence and ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
