About This Role:
Join our Falcon Exposure Management team as we build the next generation of Cyber Asset Attack Surface Management (CAASM) platform from the ground up. This is not just another feature—it's a complete, enterprise-grade integration platform that will revolutionize how organizations discover, inventory, and assess their entire digital attack surface at scale.

You'll be architecting and developing a cloud-native platform capable of connecting with hundreds of security vendors, cloud providers, and enterprise tools, processing hundreds of thousands of events per second, and solving one of cybersecurity's hardest problems: modeling and normalizing the incredibly diverse universe of assets in real-time. From traditional infrastructure to cloud-native resources, IAM policies, network configurations, and identity permissions—our platform will create a unified, intelligent view of organizational risk from disparate data sources across the entire security ecosystem.
 

This greenfield initiative combines cutting-edge distributed systems engineering with AI-driven automation, including agentic workflows, intelligent entity resolution, and machine learning-powered data quality systems. You'll be building the central nervous system of enterprise security operations.

What You'll Do:

• Build integration infrastructure at unprecedented scale: Architect and develop a complete integration platform to seamlessly connect with hundreds of third-party security vendors, cloud providers, and enterprise tools—creating the most comprehensive security data fabric in the industry.

• Engineer large-scale data pipelines: Design and implement high-performance data processing systems capable of ingesting and correlating hundreds of thousands of events per second in real-time across massive enterprise environments.

• Solve complex data modeling challenges: Model and normalize the incredibly diverse universe of assets, such as Cloud, at scale—from compute instances and containers to IAM policies, network rules, storage buckets, and identity permissions.

• Develop AI-powered integration tools: Build agentic workflows and Model Context Protocols (MCPs) to create AI-powered development tools that accelerate our ability to onboard new data sources and automate complex transformations.

• Design intelligent entity resolution systems: Implement AI-driven entity resolution and deduplication that intelligently identifies and merges duplicate assets across disparate data sources using advanced machine learning techniques.

• Architect self-learning systems: Create microservices that automatically adapt to new asset types, detect data quality anomalies, and continuously improve correlation accuracy through machine learning.

• Enable ecosystem connectivity: Develop elegant APIs that integrate CAASM insights into existing SOAR platforms, GRC tools, and security orchestration workflows—making our platform the central nervous system of enterprise security operations.

• Own end-to-end platform components: Take full ownership from initial design through production deployment and optimization, directly impacting how enterprises worldwide understand and manage their security posture.

• Champion engineering excellence: Drive quality through comprehensive testing strategies, observability best practices, and performance optimization while mentoring junior engineers and establishing scalable patterns.

What You'll Need:

• 7+ years of production-level experience building, delivering, and maintaining distributed systems at scale

• Strong proficiency in Go, Python, or Java with demonstrated experience architecting microservices and distributed systems

• Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)

• Proven experience building high-throughput data processing systems capable of handling hundreds of thousands of events per second

• Deep understanding of event-driven architectures, stream processing, and message queuing systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Kinesis, etc.)

• Experience with complex data modeling, schema design, and data normalization at scale

• Strong background in building integration platforms, ETL pipelines, or data ingestion frameworks

• Familiarity with data mapping and transformation languages (CEL, JSONPath, JOLT, or similar expression languages)

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle ambiguous, complex technical challenges

• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a remote-first, globally distributed environment

Bonus Points

• Previous experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, asset management, or GRC domains

• Expertise with GenAI/LLM technologies and their practical application in software development and automation

• Experience building agentic AI systems, autonomous workflows, or working with Model Context Protocols (MCPs)

• Knowledge of cloud security posture management (CSPM), cloud asset inventory, or similar security platforms
