Position Summary

The Security Intern will work alongside Crest's Enterprise Security & Risk team to support enterprise cybersecurity operations, threat detection, vulnerability management, identity security, and security analytics activities.

This position provides hands-on experience with enterprise security platforms, security monitoring, incident response coordination, risk management, governance frameworks, and security automation. Interns will gain exposure to real-world cybersecurity operations supporting manufacturing, business, cloud, and enterprise technology environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze security alerts and investigate potential threats
• Assist with security monitoring and threat detection activities
• Participate in vulnerability management and remediation tracking
• Support identity and access review processes
• Develop dashboards and reporting using Power BI
• Assist with cybersecurity risk assessments
• Research emerging threats, attack techniques, and vulnerabilities
• Support security documentation, standards, and operational procedures
• Participate in incident response exercises and investigations
• Assist with security automation opportunities using Power Platform and scripting

Preferred Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cyber Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field
• Familiarity with networking concepts
• Basic understanding of operating systems and security principles
• Interest in cybersecurity operations and threat analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
