Description:

A Senior Architect, Salesforce at Credera, is a trusted advisor and leader who partners with business stakeholders and executives to design a vision and architecture for a solution to a business problem. Often in the position of the technical team leader, they help educate the team with technical best practices. They also translate business needs to a technical vision that teams of low code or pro code builders can execute and build proofs-of-concept (POCs) that teams can further iterate.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Design the technical strategy, data model, and overall solution for a Salesforce implementations, migrations, or integrations.
  • Design flexible and scalable solutions that meet immediate business requirements, while setting up clients for long term success.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to clients and prospects on Salesforce CPQ, Field Services, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud best practices.
  • Lead and assist developers in hands-on solution design, solution architecture, proof-of-concepts, process flows, as well as configuration and deployment required to support current needs and future state projects.
  • Design, lead, and provide strategic insight for the CPQ, Field Services, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Opportunity Management (Opp-to-Order), and other Salesforce technical roadmaps.
  • Develop integration between Salesforce Core, Sales Cloud and CPQ to client’s storefront and ordering systems.
  • Streamline systems interactions, enhance process, organization while developing policies for automation and scaling efficiently.
  • Reimplement or enhance Salesforce CPQ during integrations and Salesforce Automation (SFA) of the client’s Order Management for Opportunity – to – Provisioning systems and Quote-to-Cash.
  • Perform DevOps assessment, process reviews, change / tool / gear sets and suggestions / tool tips and other user features as needed.
  • Serve as the Technical Advisor, Salesforce SME, Solution Architect or Technical Lead for enterprise solutions, features, functions and final escalation point for any production issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred; Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience required.
  • Certifications:
    • 1+ Current Salesforce Architect Certification(s) required. (Application, Development Lifecycle & Deployment, Data, Integration, Technical…etc.)
    • 1+ Current Salesforce Developer Certification(s) required (Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II…ect.)
    • CPQ Specialist Certification preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive technical Salesforce ecosystem experience.
  • 5+ years of development in any combination of core competencies: JavaScript, VF, APEX, Triggers, Workflows, SOQL, Unit Testing, Java…etc.
  • 3+ years of Architecture Design / Solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • 3+ years of experience and knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and ETL tools.
  • 3+ years of experience with Salesforce: Order Management & CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote)
  • 2+ years of development in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CORE
  • 2+ years of experience with Field Services (Field Services Lightning), Aura / LWC
  • Solid understanding of and detailed experience with Salesforce architecture and APIs.
  • Working knowledge and experience with complex business systems integration as well as object-oriented design patterns and development.
  • Motivated self-starter, able to change directions quickly when priorities shift and quickly think through problems to design and deliver solutions.
  • Experience working in a consultancy firm.
  • Excellent client-facing written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to travel 33% of time as necessary.
  • Ability to work within the US without limitations.
  • Ability to work in office 2-3 days per week.

Compensation:

The salary range listed is for informational purposes. Credera treats all applicants as individuals taking into consideration but not limited to their professional and academic experience, specialized training, certifications and associated responsibilities as it relates to our specific industry. The salary range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for each unique employee. An estimated base salary of $175K – 190K plus a variable component is anticipated for this role in the US.

Hybrid Work Model:

Our employees have the flexibility to work remotely two days per week. We expect our team members to spend 3 days per week in person with the flexibility to choose the days and times that work best for both them and their project or internal teams. This could be at a Credera office or at the client site. You'll work closely with your project team to align on how you balance both the flexibility that we want to provide with the connection of being together to produce amazing results for our clients.

Travel:

Our goal is to keep out-of-market travel to a minimum and most projects do not require significant travel. While certain projects can require frequent travel (up to 80% for a period of time), our average travel percentage over a year for team members is typically between 10-30%. We try to take a personal approach to travel. You will submit your travel preferences which our staffing teams will take into account when aligning you to a role.
