What you will do:
- Ensure application availability, stability, and scalability in hosted environments.
- Implement infrastructure and application changes to maintain optimal performance.
- Monitor system architecture using automation and custom solutions.
- Proactively address client issues, facilitate requests, and provide recommendations based on best practices.
- Develop and document standardized processes for scalability and efficiency.
- Create detailed specifications to ensure consistent service delivery.
- Collaborate with solution architects and other technical experts to design and implement cross-functional solutions.
- Partner with clients to address technical needs, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot complex application issues in collaboration with clients via tickets or video calls.
- Participate in 24/7/365 support coverage, including on-call rotations.
- Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented work environment with daily stand-ups and shared goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 7+ years of experience with Linux OS (Ubuntu, CentOS).
- Strong knowledge of the Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo), including administration at both application and infrastructure levels.
- Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, RDS, EBS, S3) or other similar cloud platforms on MS Azure and at least 2 years of hands-on system administration or application support in AWS.
- Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring tools such as ELK, Splunk, New Relic, or CloudWatch.
- Proficiency with automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Experience with database technologies, including MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases.
- Ability to analyze and optimize existing environments for performance improvements.
- Proven experience troubleshooting complex application issues with clients.
- Strong understanding of IT change management processes and DevOps tools (CI/CD).
- Knowledge of information security standards and regulatory compliance (SOC, PCI, HIPAA).
- Excellent communication skills with a professional, empathetic approach to customer interactions.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
