Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary of $90,100.00 - $150,100.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

The Senior Enterprise Applications Engineer will have diverse responsibilities for the implementation, maintenance, monitoring and support of various enterprise technology platforms including Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Apigee and other applications in the Cox Enterprises Financial and Supply Chain Shared Services portfolio.

The Senior Enterprise Applications Engineer will be responsible for application deployments, configuration, and maintenance as well as execution of continuous improvement initiatives.  The Administrator will also be responsible for source control, configuration management (build automation), and application performance monitoring. This resource will be responsible for documenting and handing off tasks to an offshore team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage integration solutions using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Develop scalable APIs and manage their lifecycle using Apigee.
  • Integrate cloud applications with on-premise systems and third-party services.
  • Monitor and optimize API usage, analytics, and performance metrics.
  • Participate in, and provide input to, project and support teams in proper deployment, configuration, and usage of the applications
  • Maintain application and system availability in the production environment and support project work as needed in the lower environments
  • Documentation for all above-referenced products in support of the Production environment
  • Work closely with Application Developers, Enterprise Architects, support teams, and vendors to troubleshoot issues
  • Monitor environmental performance of applications to ensure availability and accessibility
  • Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation in support of high priority incidents and issues
  • Experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle WebCenter, Oracle WebLogic, Vertex, Celonis, OneStream, Fastpath is a plus
  • Mentor junior engineers
  • Perform other duties as requested

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4 years’ experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 2 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 16 years’ experience in a related field
  • 2+ years of experience managing and supporting OIC and Apigee applications in a production environment
  • Proficiency in REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and other integration standards.
  • Strong understanding of authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, SAML).
  • Ability to work on multiple project efforts at the same time is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Informatica Integration Hub
  • Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Informatica Integration Hub, Oracle WebCenter, Oracle WebLogic, Vertex, OneStream, Fastpath and Celonis is a plus
  • Experience with automation and CI/CD tools such as or similar to Ansible, GitHub, or Jenkins
  • Experience with SQL query and scripting languages
  • Understanding of SSL certificates, domain name/IP address relationships and network troubleshooting tools
  • Experience working with external and internal customers
