Job Description
Lead Software Test Engineer
Job Description:
Lead Software Test Engineer positions offered by Cox Automotive Corporate Services, LLC (Atlanta, GA). Create and execute test cases for the Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud UI and APIs. Plan approach and test strategy for testing. Maintain existing scripts for the purpose of reusability and regression testing. Analyze test results to identify issues, and work with architects and developers to suggest improvements and drive issues to resolution.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, electronic engineering, technology management, or related field and 6 years of experience in the position offered or 6 years of experience performing software development or software testing. Also requires 6 years of experience: managing the strategy, design, or execution of business process tests and usability evaluations; leading projects in connection with the testing automation strategy, test data management strategy, or test automation framework architecture; providing technical guidance to feature developers or automation engineers to build the tools or infrastructure to ensure production code is thoroughly tested to the highest standards; and providing technical guidance or functional management to less experienced software test engineers. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree and 6 years of experience, the employer will accept a master’s or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 4 years of experience as stated, or a Ph.D. or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 1 year of experience as stated. Also requires 1 year of experience: following regulatory standards testing processes; and following waterfall, agile, or iterative development lifecycle methodology. Employee reports to office in Atlanta, GA, but may telecommute from anywhere in the U.S.

Compensation includes a base salary of $119,994 to $150,000. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company’s needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members.
