Taiwan Front Engineering 팀은 뛰어난 모바일/웹 기술을 기반으로 대만 쿠팡 서비스의 최종 고객이 대면하는 시스템을 구축합니다. 10가지 이상의 핵심 애플리케이션을 담당하는 팀으로, 해당 애플리케이션을 통해 매일 수백만 건의 고객 거래가 처리되고 있습니다. 고객이 쿠팡의 홈페이지를 여는 순간부터 특별한 쇼핑 경험을 통해 주문을 완료할 때까지 상품 발견 및 구매와 관련된 모든 도메인을 담당합니다.

업무 내용:

Staff, Front-end Engineer는 팀 내 시니어 엔지니어로써 대만 고객을 위한 기능들을 개발하고, 글로벌 서비스를 위한 테크 스택을 고민합니다. 공동 테크 스택, 웹 서비스 인프라등의 플랫폼 작업 보다는 대만시장을 성장시키기 위한 비즈니스 작업을 더 우선적으로 처리합니다. 

  • 쿠팡의 핵심 이커머스 애플리케이션을 설계, 구현, 개선 및 유지 관리하기 위해 전 세계의 프로덕트 오너 및 이해관계자와 협력
  • 엔지니어링 우수성 유지를 위해 요구되는 지속적 개선 practice를 모두가 준수하도록 확인
  • 문제 해결 및 임팩트 제거
  • 일부 프론트엔드 플랫폼 시스템 작업
  • 프로덕션 웹 애플리케이션 모니터링 및 안정성을 위한 작업 진행

자격 요건:

  • 전문 웹 개발 경력 minimum 8년 이상
  • JavaScript, HTML, CSS, HTTP 사용 능통
  • React, Vue, Angular, Svelte등 널리 사용되는 UI 프레임워크 중 하나 이상을 직접 사용한 경험
  • Nextjs, Nestjs, Express, Koa 등 주요 프레임워크 중 하나의 사용에 능숙, Nodejs 개발 경험
  • Webpack, Rollup, Vite 등 프론트엔드 번들링 툴 중 하나 이상의 사용에 능숙
  • Jest, Jasmine, Mocha 등 널리 사용되는 UT 툴세트 사용에 능숙하며 뛰어난 프론트엔드 유닛 테스트 작성 능력
  • UX 디자이너, 프로덕트 오너, 팀 리더 및 기타 관련 팀과 원활한 커뮤니케이션 능 력
  • 요구 사항을 실제 작동하는 시스템으로 독립적으로 전환할 수 있는 능력

Who we are?

Taiwan Front Engineering team is responsible for building systems facing our Coupang Taiwan end customers based on mobile & web technologies. We're responsible for more than 10 key applications, and these applications process millions of customer transactions every day. Starting from the customers opening the Coupang home page, till they complete the orders through the extraordibary shopping experience, we're responsible for handling the whole product discovery & purchase related domains.

Our vision is to build the industry standard of eCommerce mobile & web platform which provides wow customer experience through efficient engineering and leading technology.


Key Responsibilities

As a Staff, Front-end Engineer on the team, developing the functions of Taiwanese customers and thinking about the tech stack for global services. We prioritize business tasks to grow the Taiwanese market rather than platform tasks such as common tech stack and web infrastructure. 

  • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders globally to design, implement, improve and maintain Coupang core e-commerce applications
  • Ensure adherence to continuous improvement practices as required to keep engineering excellence
  • Troubleshoot issues and eliminiate impacts
  • Work on some front end platform systems
  • Monitor production web applications and ensure stability


Basic Qualifications 

  • 8+ years of professional web development experience
  • Proficients in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, HTTP
  • Hands-on experience in at least one of the popular UI frameworks like react, vue, angular, svelte etc.
  • Falimiar with at least one of the front end bundling tools like webpack , rollup , vite etc.
  • Good sense to write front end unit tests, familiar with popular UT toolsets like jest, jasmine, mocha etc.
  • Good communication skills with UX Designers, Product Owners, Team Leader and other dependent teams
  • Ability to convert requirements to working systems independently
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related fields

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experiences in profiling & improving front end systems' performance
  • Experiences in e-commerce industry
  • Good Engilsh communication skills
