Solution Architect/Engagement Manager

What you will do:

• 
  
Engagement and Relationship Management:
• Help customers focus on their goals and drive the implementation towards a successful, on-time implementation
• Drive Coupa implementation methodology and expected outcomes for all customers and partners implementations
• Forge strong partnerships with customers and colleagues
• Forge strong partnerships with Coupa’s partner ecosystem, especially for LATAM partners
• Collaborate with Coupa services partners during the implementation
• Engage customers in enlightened business need discussions versus feature/function basics
• Proactive escalation management in partnership with customers, partners and colleagues, as required


Functional Design and Architecture:
• As a specialist in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) product deployments, your main responsibilities will be in enabling customers in designing, configuring and adopting best-in-class purchasing and invoicing processes
• Oversee all functional design aspects of implementation by taking the lead in managing and mentoring workstream solution architects from both Coupa and partner teams, ensuring a successful delivery of the project scope
• Provide strong technical understanding of our product with the ability to discuss and demonstrate the full Coupa platform and how it may be configured to meet a customer’s business needs
• Help customers focus on their goals and drive the implementation solution architecture towards a successful, on-time implementation, taking into consideration Suite Synergy opportunities
• Oversee all functional design aspects of implementation by taking the lead in managing and mentoring workstream solution architects from both Coupa and partner teams, ensuring a successful delivery of the project scope
• Lead process discussions for leading practices
• Provide Coupa platform demonstrations as required


Others:
• Create and/or improve implementation templates, training and presentations
• Share relevant prior experiences with customers and colleagues
• Provide assistance to colleagues where needed
• Work well in both individual and team settings both on and off client site
• Manage customers where up to 50% of your time may include travel

What you will bring to Coupa:

• Experience with Procure to Pay process
• 8-10 years’ experience in systems applications consulting, either internally via an IT organization or externally with a consulting firm or software provider
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Must have shown significant career growth as part of prior experience
• Candidates should have extremely strong client management skills and be able to work with customers to execute an implementation plan that works towards a rapid, successful go live
• Ability to build relationships with all levels of customer and partner organizations
• Previous senior consulting experience with Coupa or similar E-Procurement solutions (SAP Ariba, Basware, Ivalua, GEP, Concur, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Great Plains) is highly desirable
• Experience with Expense Management, and/or Spend Analytics and/or Software as a Service is a plus
• Experience prototyping, demonstrating, designing, configuring, and delivering procurement systems is required
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
• Self-starter and quick learner, must be able to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changes in a fast paced and passionate environment
• Highly organized with the ability/experience to manage multiple simultaneous Enterprise projects
• May require some flexibility in working hours due to Americas’ time zones.
