Job Description:

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will play a key role in data extraction, processing, storage, and maintenance of Cotality’s tier-1 vendor headcount and spend database management. Role will also focus on developing interactive dashboards and reporting instruments.

This role is accountable for cultivating and strengthening collaborative working relationships with senior executives, operational leadership, and process owners from Cotality and vendor organizations across geographies and functional lines. This role will be the primary SDVM point of contact for various requests related to building and improving vendor related reporting.

• Regular working hours, however candidate is required to be available until 10:30pm IST to have an overlap with US hours

• It will be Hybrid work model

• Training will be provided about the product

• Develop and maintain detailed reports and dashboards using vendor spend and headcount data across Excel, SQL databases, Tableau, and Looker.

• Perform data extraction, transformation, and analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities, ensuring accuracy and consistency across reporting platforms.

• Design and deliver executive-facing dashboards in Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, or Looker that clearly communicate key insights from vendor spend and headcount data to support strategic decision-making.

• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines in and out of the data warehouse

• Ensure accurate and timely data availability to meet business needs

• Maintain change control and testing processes for modifications to databases

• Develop and maintain database stored procedures, views, and functions that support reporting data models

• Develop and maintain ETL processes

• Produce ad-hoc queries that develop reports to support business needs

• Provide data management support to users

• Create and maintain technical documentation

Job Qualifications:

• Database management or equivalent Bachelor’s degree in related field is required 

• 6+ years of report & dashboard development experience is required

• 3+ years of ETL experience is required

• Highly skilled in data modelling, sourcing and mapping

• Mandatory Skills requirement - BI Tools - Looker , Visio, Tableau, Microsoft Office

• Nice to have - Programming Languages: Oracle PL/SQL packages, MySQL, SQL, etc.

• Able to work effectively with onsite and offshore stakeholders, team members, and support organization

• Advanced critical reasoning/thinking ability, understanding cause-effect implications, as well as worst/best case scenarios

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical and leadership skills, self-motivated, quick learner and a team player. Ability to work in a team and individually

• Strong ability to engage at all levels across a diverse set of internal and external stakeholder groups

• Strong ability to work effectively across functions, business units, and time-zones

• A sense of urgency and pace, managing milestones with the capacity to prioritize/align conflicting demands

• High degree of comfort acting as a central point of contact and first point of escalation for issues, disputes, and requests

• Self-directed and results-oriented; strong bias for execution

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to apply logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
